Meet The Team

Gavin Gregory

Hi there. My name is Allan, and I own and manage the driving school.  I've been a driving instructor since 1999 so have many years experience behind me.  I live in Aston/Swallownest but cover most of the south east side of Sheffield, so I know my way around very well!

I'm married, with one daughter and a granddaughter, and my hobbies include travel, researching my family tree and gardening.

Hello, I'm Gavin, and I've been driving instructor since 2005, all of which has been spent with Horizon.  I live at High Green/Chapeltown and cover the north side of Sheffield, as well as parts of Rotherham and Barnsley and I am passionate about driving!

I am also a residential child care worker, having qualified in 2001, and I was in the Territorial Army for 7 years as a chef.

​

I enjoy watching football, playing pool and snooker, and am a fishing fanatic. I also enjoy going out socialising and walking with my partner.  

Ian priest

Hi! My name is Ian, and I've been an instructor since 2006, prior to which I was a butcher, and I've been with Horizon since 2011.  I live at Gleadless/Base Green and cover the south of Sheffield.

My hobbies include playing the guitar and watching local bands, plus watching football, reading books and socialising.
