Lessons
Courses are tailored to
your personal needs and you can take lessons lasting one, one-and-a-half or two hours.
However, we normally recommend that pupils take one-and-a-half or two-hour lessons as experience
has shown that many people find that these longer lessons to be really beneficial to them. One hour
just doesn't seem to be enough - just as you get in to the swing of things, time is up. You may think
that, by taking longer lessons, it is going to cost you more in the long run. But this couldn't be further
from the truth. Longer lessons will work out far better value for money as you'll spend longer in the car
learning, be able to practice more during a longer session, therefore learn quicker and over the full term
of your driving course, this may save you money.
At least think about taking a couple of one-hour lessons each week. What was learned in the last lesson will
take a little time to recall in the next lesson and shorter lessons can result in there being less time to
learn new skills. As a result, you may need to take more lessons to pass the Test. At least by taking a
couple of lessons a week, the gap between lessons is shorter and recall is quicker.
For an idea of how many lessons you might need, take a look at the FAQ page.
Lessons are available in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Worksop from 7.30am to 8pm
